New Super Shootout Format and Sponsor for 2025!

The Northwest Division Super Shootouts held during our Lucas Oil events will have a new look and format beginning at May's Lucas Oil Divisional event at Firebird Raceway. Hughes Performance has come on board joining long-time sponsor Johnny B Good racing for these additional events. The format and championship run-off has also changed. Two qualifying sessions will be utilized, with the Top 8 eligible racers going on a sportsman ladder. At the end of the D6 Season, we'll take the top 8 point earners and determine the season champions on the track! The championship run-off will be at Pacific Raceways on Saturday August 9th!

·   $20 paid in the lanes BEFORE the first time trial session (qualifying).

·   Qualified position will be based on the best run you make from the two time runs closest to/above the index.

·    The Top 8 eligible racers will run a 3-round elimination (8-4-2) sportsman ladder. Higher qualified car gets lane choice E1, subsequent round lane choice goes to better winning RT from the previous round.

·    Points will be awarded as follows: E1 loss, 32; Semi loss, 43, R/U 64, Win 85

·    The Top 8 points earners in each category AFTER the first Seattle LODRS (August 7th) will run for the season championship on Saturday, August 9.  If someone from the Top 8 is not in attendance, #9 will be added and so forth.  In case of a replacement, everyone below the missing racer moves up in position.  The replacement will take #8. Professional ladder will be used: #1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs. #6, #4 vs. #5.  Lane choice goes to the highest point earner for the duration of the championship race.  In case of a tie with points, coin toss will determine lane choice.

·    If needed, tie breakers for position will be in this order: #Wins, #RU, #Semi, # of events qualified, average qualified position.
